An Ekphrastic Event for Sharing the Muse
Please join us as we celebrate National Poetry Month with our annual poetry event An Ekphrastic Event for Sharing the Muse 2023
The idea for this event was developed by members of the South Bend Museum of Art board of directors as a way to include area writers more directly in our community of art makers. Individuals of all ages were invited to find a muse among the art in the museum that inspired a personal poetic vision of its meaning.
Our MC for the evening, Nekeisha Alayna Alexis will introduce each poet and invite them to share their poems with the audience. This event is free and open to the public and light refreshments will be provided. All ages welcome.
