The South Bend Museum of Art has collected works of art for over 70 years. Acquisition of several series of prints has allowed us to collect works by nationally known artists and also address socio-political work pertaining to issues of racism, feminism, and tolerance. Most often these portfolios of prints stay protected in storage with only a few on display at any given time. SBMA curatorial staff decided it was time to bring these beautiful prints out of the vault and share their stories.
