The creation of art has always been determined by what tools, techniques, and media are available to artists. Inventions and processes such as the camera, the ceramic kiln, printmaking, and technology radically changed artmaking and how artists work. Pathfinders is a selected group of artists from our permanent collection that have used these processes in innovative ways, creating something completely new.
