A Letter from the Director
Dear Friends,
2022 marked the South Bend Museum of Art’s 75th year of serving our communities. We are proud of the role we play in building the foundations for a healthy community. In my short time here, listening to our members, our visitors, our faculty, our students, our board members, and our staff, I hear and see our SBMA communities thriving.
From our passionate ceramics studio artists to the Ekphrastic poetry event to over one thousand 5th grade visitors, I hear and see how engaging with our collections and exhibitions, practicing art, and teaching art is transforming individuals through their engagement with others–a peer, a teacher, a staff member, a stranger.
Art is at the heart of these conversations. I am asking each of you to support our future through membership and corporate and individual sponsorship.
