Liminal: Indiana in the Anthropocene is an aerial photography and film project that illustrates our state as a microcosm of this new planetary epoch. It captures the essence of the material economy in this global phenomenon from 45 locations within the state boundaries, collapsing the global into the local. Liminal reveals a compelling and uncanny view of Indiana in all its features and forms. It was conceptualized and arranged by Zach Schrank, a Sociologist at IU South Bend; entirely produced with drone cameras by Aaron Yoder of Indiana Aerials; and accompanied by a feature length meditative film with an original score written by Fort Wayne composer Nate Utesch (Metavari).
Please join us for the First Friday Reception for both LIMINAL: Indiana in the Anthropocene and Around the Bend on June 7, 2024 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. This event is free and open to the public.
