Artist Panel & Mixer | Around the Bend
Event: Saturday, July 13th, 2024| 5 pm – 8 pm
In the spirit of Around the Bend, the South Bend Museum of Art is hosting a professional development panel and artist mixer! Providing a space for creative connections and conversations. Any artist wanting career guidance or a creative network will find that and more. Providing a digital resource page for artists and free totes(while supplies last)! All taking place in the Warner Gallery, featuring 275 artists!
This event will be catered by the local chef duo, A Bite with Mee, and have a bar with assorted beer and non alcoholic beverages!
Artist Panel 5 pm- 6 pm

Freddy Rodriguez, Public Art and Community Organizer
Katie Neece, Artist and Art Education Curator
The professional development panel will have three panelists, Lora Fosberg, Freddie Rodriguez, and Katie Neece, all having vibrant careers in different areas of visual creative industries. The panel discussion will be “Building a Professional Career as an Artist” moderated by Kolton Sizer. Panelists will share their journey and insights on their careers and today’s industry. The panel discussion will be from 5 pm – 6 pm in the Wiekamp Gallery.
Artist Mixer 6 pm – 8 pm
Located in the Warner Gallery
The artist mixer is 6 pm – 8 pm, you’ll get to mingle and eat food by local favorite A Bite with Mee. Find digital our digital resource page and a free tote bag (while supplies last)! We invite all creatives to join us at this abundant event.
