Memberships
The Art League was founded in 1969. It serves as an auxiliary body of the South Bend Museum of Art and as an advocate for the visual arts within the community. An annual fundraising event, Arts in Bloom Garden Walk, provides financial support for educational outreach programming such as Museum Morning, class tuition scholarships, as well as the purchase of artwork from the SBMA’s Biennial exhibition, and the Holiday in the Gallery reception.

Arrival 11:30 a.m., Â Â Lunch at Noon. Presenter: Penny Cline is a decorative arts restorationist for 39 years who worked on many historic buildings including the Indiana Statehouse, Morris Performing Arts Center, and the Palais Royale. She also painted murals in many homes and businesses.

Arrival 11:30 a.m., Â Â Lunch at Noon. Presenter: Michelle McCosky, director of education at Fernwood Botanical Garden, will talk about the life and art of Beatrix Potter who created Peter Rabbit and broke boundaries as a scientist and naturalist, making 350 drawings of mushrooms.
