First Friday Reception | February 6 | 5–8pm
The South Bend Museum of Art is proud to present the 2026 Scholastic Art Awards Exhibition, celebrating the creativity and achievement of young artists from the Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan region. This regional program represents 19 counties and recognizes outstanding work created by 7th–12th grade students across a wide range of artistic disciplines.
This year, the competition received more than 3,400 submissions, with over 500 works earning Silver and Gold Key Awards, the highest regional honors presented through the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Selected works will be on view in the Warner and Community Galleries from February 6 through April 12, offering a powerful glimpse into the talent and vision of emerging artists.
