Classes always take first priority in studios and Open Studio hours may be adjusted due to special circumstances.

Open Studio Schedule
Open Studio passes are available for returning students who prefer independent work time instead of a scheduled class. Open Studio hours are determined each session. Classes take priority and Open Studio hours are not guaranteed.
Students are not permitted to use Open Studio hours during a scheduled class time.
It is up to the discretion of SBMA to cancel Open Studios if necessary. Students will be notified if hours vary during holidays, inclement weather, emergencies, or intersession via email. Studio and class closures due to inclement weather at SBMA will follow area school district closures. Students will be sent an email notification if Open Studio hours or classes are canceled.
Not all students are eligible for Open Studios, please consult the Education Department: education@southbendart.org with any questions or concerns.
