The South Bend Museum of Art is excited to be bringing back KID BEAT this year! It’s a special area of Art Beat with art and activities by and for kids, located directly next to the Century Center in its parking lot.
KID BEAT! will contain 20 local businesses and nonprofits who will have art and creative experiences for kids and their grown-ups!
We are pleased to present ceramics demonstrations, a story time tent, a community weaving project, and an opportunity to be a part of a new Michiana movement and create your own message trading rock!
We are pleased to announce that we will be partnering with Lighthouse Autism Center during Art Beat/KID BEAT! this year to provide a sensory-inclusive space inside the museum’s Wiekamp Gallery for families who need a quiet space away from the Beat. The museum galleries and retail shop will also be open to the public.
