Viking or Celtic Penannular Brooch

A brooch dating back to the Early MedievalTimes made with a break in the circumference and a center fastening pin, used to gather together a scarf or blanket.
In this workshop you will learn to form copper rod into a circle, and create and connect the fastening pin to make your own penannular brooch. Students will hammer, twist or form and texture wire or rod and use a torch and other hand tools.
