This isn’t your third grade paper mâché project! This introductory class will lead students through basic techniques used to build 3-dimensional forms. Projects include a multimedia sculpture and hand-carved plaster objects. Each class will include a demo and time for students to work on projects.
Supply List: Sketchbook, writing & drawing tools, utility knife or breakaway blade for cutting paper and cardboard, hot glue gun, steel ruler, basic scissors, and a steel utility knife for carving plaster. Steel pliers will also be needed but should not be purchased until after the first class meeting. Optional: water-based fabric dye to color plaster. Additional objects, tools, and adhesives found outside or around your home may be needed based on your project designs.
