Beginning Encaustic Workshop, August 13th & 14th

Saturday August 13th, 1-4 p.m.

Sunday August 14th, 1-4 p.m.

A two day Encaustic workshop, painting with bees wax.  We will discuss the history of Enkaustikos, properties of pigments, different waxes, and how to layer the wax to produce a deep, translucent surface which begs to be stamped, carved, collaged, textured, or left silky smooth.  Basic supplies will be furnished, bring an apron.

Cost:  $200, includes supplies.
