Introduction to Digital Photography

Begins January 14, 2021 and meets once a week for 8 weeks.

Instructor: Krista Kuyske

Thursdays: 6:00 – 9:00 pm

Over the course of eight weeks, students will become familiar with SLR film cameras and utilizing manual settings in creative methods. Students will learn the entire photographic film process, beginning with capturing artistic photographs, then developing film, and eventually creating prints in the darkroom. Both technical skills and creative skills will be emphasized. Supplies required:  35 mm black & white 400-speed film (Ilford HP5 Plus, Kodak Tri-X 400, etc.) 24-36 exposures, 4 rolls -Manual SLR film camera, three ring binder, additional photographic paper if needed. Supplies provided:  Darkroom photographic paper, Negative archival storage for 35 mm film
