Intro to Potter’s Wheel – Ceramics – 6 weeks

Sunday mornings starting May 22nd: 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM

This course offers students a 6 week introduction to the potter’s wheel. Participants will experience basic methods of wedging, centering clay, throwing cylinders and bowls, along with trimming and glazing. Students will learn how to finish their own pots using standard decorating and glazing techniques. This class is for those students with little to no experience or anyone looking to brush up on basics. Advance students welcome as well.

Every Ceramics class registration includes one (1) 25 lb. bag of clay, use of studio glazes and underglazes, space in kilns during regular firing schedules, and access to Open Studio Hours
