Art in the Kitchen - Explore Materials (ages 6 - 8)

Don’t go to the store and buy art materials; make them! In this class, children will discover their inner scientist as they mix, stir, and measure their own art concoctions. Join Ms. Candi in the kitchen as we make our own paints, sculpting materials, and use them!

Parents bring your children to explore the process of art! Just the right ages to learn how fun art can be while exploring drawing, painting, prints and collage. We will help document your child’s art created during class with a digital camera. The final project will be a keepsake with the images. Be ready to get dirty as we introduce your child to the wonders of their imagination.

If you are a beginner or an avid artist, this class is for you. Students will receive individual attention and learn basic skill and methods to improve techniques. Explore shape, line, proportion, gesture, and perspective through fun exercises. Each student receives a sketchbook do the fun doesn’t stop in class. Come and watch your imagination come to life!

Youth Photography - Make Your Own Pin Hole Camera (Ages 9–12)

Come and discover new ways of seeing through pin hole cameras. Students will learn how to develop light sensitive paper in the dark room, learn how to make their own pin hole camera, and how to use it! Students will develop individual strengths during this class that will allow them to make creative photographs in the future. Class will be in Photography Studio.
