How To Start Drawing

Always wanted to draw, but never knew where to begin? This class is designed for all levels and focuses on drawing what you see. Exercises will be from the book and video, “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain”. Pencils and graphite will be used. Learn a new skill or enhance an old one. Personal enrichment will be the goal.

Discover the excitement of creating vibrant landscape using the powerful and popular medium of soft pastels. New students will explore the basics of drawing, composition, color and tonal value. Continuing students will work to improve their technique and develop a personal style. Critiques and individual attention emphasized.
